Hireologist ("we", "us") is a recruitment firm. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to our recruitment services.

- From candidates: name, contact details, resume, work history, skills, current and expected pay, notice period, and notes from our conversations and assessments.
- From clients and enquirers: name, company, work email, phone number and details of the roles you are hiring for.
- From this website: the information you enter in our forms.
How we collect it
Directly from you through our forms, email, phone and interviews; from referrals; and from professional profiles you have made public, such as LinkedIn.
Why we use it
- To match candidates with roles and to run searches for clients.
- To contact you about roles, interviews and the progress of a search.
- To meet our legal and contractual obligations.
Who we share it with
We share a candidate's profile with a client only after the candidate agrees to be put forward for that role. We use service providers such as our applicant tracking system and email provider, who process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep candidate information while it remains relevant to finding you a role, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires us to keep it longer.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, withdraw your consent, and raise a grievance. Write to us at the address below and we will respond promptly.
Children
Our services are for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
